Twanoh State Park

visited 3 October 2021

In the peak of summer, this park is overrun with picnickers and swimmers. Come back in the fall and it’s a much quieter site mostly occupied by geese and seagulls.

Three Canada geese swim in a tidal pool on a gravelly beach at low tide under a heavy gray overcast sky, with a concrete boat launch ramp marked by a yellow box and a red sign, and forested hills across the calm waters of Hood Canal in the distance.
