Sacajawea Historical State Park

This park honors the confluence of the Snake and Columbia Rivers, the Lewis and Clark expedition that reached this point in October 1805, and, of course, it bears the name of the native Shoshone guide who helped them make this journey.

I timed my visit hoping for sunset views along the river. Alas, the weather had other plans for my photography that day, but my timing also meant that I missed the opening hours for the interpretive center.
