Conconully State Park

visited 23 April 2022

Tucked away in the mountains west of Omak, the small town of Conconully reminds us all of a quieter time when life ran at a slower pace.

Conconully State Park sits on the edge of Conconully Reservoir and offers a chance to camp, lay low, and just enjoy the water.

A wide panoramic view of a sandy, dried-out lakebed with sparse tufts of grass under a bright sun and blue sky, with a low reservoir, forested hills, and pine-covered mountains in the distance.
A broad dry grassy meadow in the foreground leads to a low reservoir and forested, evergreen-covered hills under a deep blue sky with a few scattered clouds. A couple of small cabins sit tucked among the pine trees near the water’s edge.
A grassy campground at Conconully State Park with two small wooden camping cabins backed by a forested hillside, a travel trailer and parked cars nearby, and picnic tables on the lawn. Bright yellow-green willow trees and bare deciduous trees frame the scene in early spring.

This post office isn’t technically in the park, but it will give you a flavor of the town itself.
